A TWO-CAR crash at Summit Drive and Goldenwest Street Thursday morning in Huntington Beach (HBFD photo).

Firefighters from Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley and the Orange County Fire Authority knocked down a blaze Thursday in a residential complex.

According to the HBFD, the fire was in a unit at 16921 Lakefront Circle and was reported at 10:21 a.m. Arriving units saw smoke showing from the roof. 

There were no injuries and firefighters were able to contain the damage to one unit. The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Also on Thursday, HBFD crews responded to the scene of  two-car accident Thursday morning. First reported at 8:39 a.m. the collision was at Summit Drive and Goldenwest Street. Two patients were evaluated by paramedics. Traffic was tied up while the accident was cleared.
