Ready, aim, shoot with archery lessons

FREE ARCHERY lessons will be offered for Garden Grove teens (Flickr photo).

Free archery programs for teens 12 to 17 will be hosted by the City of Garden Grove on Feb. 22 and March 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the Sports and Recreation Center, 13641 Deodara Drive in Garden Grove Park.

Pioneer Park playground takes a time-out

The playground in Pioneer Park, 2700 Chapman Ave., Garden Grove, is tentatively scheduled to be closed from Monday, Feb. 11 through Friday, Feb. 15, weather permitting.

The closure is to demolish and re-surface the playground floor. For more information, call (714) 741-5200.
