
A TWO-CAR crash at Warner Avenue and Goldenwest Street in Huntington Beach on Monday sent one driver to the hospital (HBFD photo).
A traffic collision sent one person to the hospital and closed a major intersection in Huntington Beach on Monday.
According to the fire department, the incident took place around 12:24 p.m. at Warner Avenue and Goldenwest Street. One of the vehicles rolled over, and the occupant had to be extricated by firefighters, and was taken to a local trauma center.
Traffic was closed in all directions while the accident was cleared.
However, that was not the only major crash of the day in Huntington Beach. A one-car accident at Yorktown Avenue and Magnolia Street around 6:39 a.m. also resulted in a person being trapped in the vehicle and being extricated by paramedics.
The patient was taken to a local trauma center as well.
