Two teams from Huntington Beach High are in CIF-SS semifinal contests today (Tuesday).

The Oiler baseball team (25-6) will visit Harvard-Westlake (26-5-1) in Division 1 action in Studio City. The teams are nationally ranked as 20th and 14th, respectively, by Maxpreps.com.

In softball, HBHS will host Norco – the nation’s second-ranked team – in Division 1 semifinal. The Oilers are 18-8 while the Cougars are 29-1.

Division 6 softball play will see Santiago (25-1) host Woodland Christian (17-5) and in Division 7, La Quinta (15-7) will visit Western Christian (26-7) in Upland.

The finals in both sports are set for Saturday, with times and locations to be announced.
