“Ralph” will wreck Westminster Thursday

THE ANIMATED film “Ralph Breaks the Internet” will be shown Thursday at a free event in the Sunken Gardens at the Westminster Civic Center.

The City of Westminster will kick off its summer Outdoor Movie Nights program with a showing of “Ralph Breaks the Internet” on Thursday in the city’s Civic Center Sunken Gardens, 8200 Westminster Blvd.

Pre-movie festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with games, face painting and a special visit and pictures with Vanellope, Ralph’s best friend in this animated feature, from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.

The movie will start shortly after sunset. Residents should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Taste Buds Hot Dogs and Mustache Mike’s Italian Ice will have food items for sale. Admission and parking is free.
