
TWO PEOPLE were killed and three injured in a two-car crash in Huntington Beach on Monday night (Shutterstock).
Two persons were killed in an automobile crash Monday night in Huntington Beach, and three others injured as well.
According to Motor Sgt. Eric Warken of the HBPD, the crash took place in the area of Beach Boulevard and Taylor Drive at about 9:25 p.m.
Arriving officers found a 2007 red Honda Fit with major damage to the right side of the vehicle. The driver, a 29-year-old Chino Hills man, had suffered traumatic injuries. The passenger, a 36-year-old Huntington Beach woman, also sustained traumatic injuries and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The other vehicle, a 2012 Volkswagen Passat, has sustained major front end damage. The driver, a 25-year-old man from Huntington Beach is cooperating with police, according to Warken.
The driver and two other passengers – a 22-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman, both from Huntington Beach – sustained moderate injuries.
