Three persons were arrested this week in connection with a series of thefts of trucks and trailers in Garden Grove.

According to the GGPD, there have been a series of tractor trailer thefts in the industrial area of West Garden Grove along Chapman Avenue. The suspects’ operating method was to work in the early morning hours, committing thefts that were valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Detectives reviewing surveillance video noticed that in each incident, the same suspects were wearing similar clothing and that a white Ford F-250 truck with stolen license plates was at each scene.

On the morning of Nov. 17, a security guard spotted a “suspicious” F-250 and called police, who made a stop and arrested three suspects – two men and a woman. They were arrested on six counts of stolen vehicles, six counts of conspiracy and many burglary charges. They were booked at Orange County Jail.

The names, ages and cities of residence of the suspects were not immediately available.
