A 25-YEAR-old Garden Grove man was in critical condition after being shot (Shutterstock).

A 25-year-old Garden Grove man was in critical condition after being shot Thursday night.

According to Sgt. Mark Lord of the GGPD, the incident took place in the 13000 block of Blackbird Street near Garden Grove Boulevard at around 6:44 p.m.  Responding officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
