A “suspicious death” is investigated

ONE PERSON is dead and another critically injured in Garden Grove Monday night after they apparently fell from a third story window (Shutterstock).

A woman is dead and a man in critical condition after an incident Monday night in Garden Grove in which it appears they fell from a third story window.

According to Lt. Rich Burillo, the incident was reported to the GGPD at 9:21 p.m. when police were called by the Orange County Fire Authority in reference to a man and woman fighting in the 10800 block of Lotus Drive, west of the intersection of Hazard Avenue and Euclid Street.

Arriving officers found the two, both Vietnamese, laying on the ground of a side yard with multiple injuries to the body and face. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and personal details about the two are not being released at this time. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call GGPD investigators at (714) 741-5800.
