The Ocean View School District recently announced its elementary and middle school Teachers of the Year with surprise visits to Hope View Elementary School and

The 2020-2021 Teachers of the Year are Holly Sjogren, a fourth/fifth grade teacher at Hope View and Scott Vanetta, a math teacher at Spring View. Sjogren will be the district’s nominee for the county-level Teacher of the Year program, which is coordinated by the Orange County Department of Education.

OVSD is a public school K-8 school district serving north Huntington Beach as well as parts of Fountain Valley, Westminster and Midway City.
