The annual Miss Garden Grove pageant will not be held in 2020 but will instead be staged in 2021. The same will be true of the national Miss America event.

According to the Miss Garden Grove/Strawberry Grove Organization, the national organization – with which this local group is affiliated, has decided to postpone the 2020 competition planned for December to some time in 2021 because of the impact of the corona virus pandemic.

The Miss California organization will also be cancelling its 2020 event, planned for June, until 2021. All local competitions have been postponed until next year.

Garden Grove’s event is planned to be conducted in the fall of 2021.

Reigning royalty Raena Ramirez (Miss Garden Grove) and Monica Waldau (Miss Strawberry Grove) will keep their titles and roles until the new pageant next year.
