NEW CORONAVIRUS cases in Orange County were reported at 100 on Thursday (Shutterstock).

Six more deaths and 100 new confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported Thursday by the Orange County Health Care Agency.

The half-dozen fatalities bring the county’s total to 142. That number includes 59 from skilled nursing facilities. The cumulative total of COVID-19 cases is now at 5,744.

New tests reported Thursday were at 1,229, bringing the total to 112,004. Cases reported as hospitalized were at 255, with 105 in intensive care units.

The number of people recovered to date is put at 2,209.

On a city-by-city basis, Santa Ana had the most with 1,085 cases. Next is Anaheim with 963, followed by Huntington Beach with 331, Garden Grove with 311 and Orange with 266.

Local cities Westminster and Stanton have 117 and 75 cases, respectively.
