Friday’s count of new coronavirus cases in Orange County is at 185, with three deaths.

The previous day’s count was 100 new cases and six deaths.

According to the Orange County Health Care Agency, the new cumulative total of cases for the county is 5,923 and the total number of deaths is 145. The number of cases currently hospitalized is at 255, with 98 in intensive care units.

In Friday’s tally, 1,484 new tests were reported, bringing the total to 116,279. The cumulative total of recovered COVID-19 cases for OC is 2,358.

On a city-by-city basis, the leader is Santa Ana with 1,126, followed by Anaheim with 1,001, then Huntington Beach with 334, Garden Grove with 316 and Orange with 220.

Local cities Westminster and Stanton had 120 and 77 cases respectively, according to the OCHCA.
