Coronavirus daily count is at 137

ONE HUNDRED thirty seven new cases of coronavirus – up from 100 on Tuesday – was reported by the Orange County Health Care Agency (Pexels/Anna Shvets).

The count of new confirmed coronavirus cases in Orange County rose to 137 in Wednesday’s report, up from Tuesday’s total of 100.

According to the county health agency, eight deaths were also reported. The total number of fatalities is now at 158 and the cumulative number of confirmed cases is at 6,678.

Two hundred seventy-nine coronavirus cases are currently hospitalized, with 120 in intensive care.  So far, 2,810 COVID-19 sufferers are listed as recovered.

Santa Ana remains the city with the most cases with 1,306, followed by Anaheim with 1,160, Garden Grove with 371, Huntington Beach with 353 and Orange with 288. Westminster had 114 and Stanton 82.
