Anaheim police are taking another look at a 1991 unsolved murder.
On March 30, 1991, just after 9 p.m., three suspects entered the home of Francisco Penalosa Millan in the 1100 block of North Mayfair Avenue in Anaheim. That’s between Euclid Street and North Harbor Boulevard, near West La Palma Avenue.
During a confrontation, according to the APD, Millan was killed. Although a description of one suspect was developed, no arrests were made and the case never solved.
Now, 29 years later, Anaheim detectives are reopening the file on that cold case. They’re releasing a composite sketch of person who might be related to the murder of Millan. It depicts what he might have looked like at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Anaheim homicide detective Mark Gell at (714) 321-3669.
