Today’s total is 1,028 cases, an increase of over 300 more than the previous high reported on Friday.

That number brings the OC tally to 17,882, of which 1,220 are skilled nursing facility patients, 406 inmates of county jails and 111 homeless persons. Those judged to be recovered are 8,634.
