It was a busy week for the Anaheim Police Department.

The APD was helping the Buena Park Police Department Friday night on a vehicle pursuit with the car being chased ending up nose down in the flood control channel on Lincoln Avenue west of Magnolia Avenue in Anaheim.

Earlier, APD investigators arrested two suspects wanted for an armed robbery in Anaheim. They served a search warrant on the suspects’ home and recovered a .223 rifle and .380 handgun used in the robbery.

Additional ammunition and high capacity magazines were also found.
