Bedroom blaze is extinguished

 

FIREFIGHTERS from three agencies knocked down a fire Sunday in Garden Grove (OCFA photo).

A blaze at a single-family home in Garden Grove early Sunday morning was extinguished through the efforts of three firefighting agencies.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides fire and paramedic service to Garden Grove – the fire was on Granite Place in a tract south of Garden Grove Boulevard, a short distance from Garden Grove Hospital.

The fire was reported shortly after midnight and was confined to one bedroom. There were no injuries and the fire was put out within 10 minutes. Firefighters from the OCFA and fire departments of Anaheim and the City of Orange worked together. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
