Westminster blaze snuffed out

FIREFIGHTERS knocked out a residential fire in Westminster on Monday (OCFA image).

A home and adjacent houses were saved from a blaze in Westminster Monday evening..

According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides fire and medical aid services for the city – a garage fire at a two-story home in the 40 block of Sorbonne Street was reported at 5:46 p.m. That’s in a tract southeast of Hazard Avenue and Magnolia Street.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Missing SA woman is sought

UPDATE: Kailey Coyolt has been found and reunited with her family, according to SAPD.

Santa Ana police are asking the public’s help in locating a woman who has been missing since Nov. 23.

According to the SAPD, Kailey Coyolt, 21, was last seen in the area of the 1100 block of West Civic Center Drive at about 7 a.m. She has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old and needs medication.

She was last seen wearing a floral print shirt, gray leggings and blue Adidas athletic shoes. Coyolt is described as Hispanic, 5-foot, 2-inches tall, 150 lbs. with brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair.

Santa arrives early for GGNA

The Garden Grove Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a “Santa & Some Christmas Fun” on Friday, Dec. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at 12381 Meade St. in Garden Grove.

Admission is free, but there will be treats and holiday crafts to buy. There will be hot cocoa, spiced cider, popcorn, crafts and more. Make sure to wear a mask and follow all safety procedures.
