Fire strikes the “Castle House”

A fire Thursday evening in Huntington Beach struck a three-story single-family home.

According to the HBFD, the blaze was at “The Castle House” located at 9001 Bermuda Drive. Arriving firefighters from Huntington Beach reported heavy fire and smoke showing from the distinctive building located just east of Magnolia Street, south of Hamilton Avenue.

With help from the Costa Mesa Fire Department, the HBFD knocked down the fire. One patient was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
