Local student art to be exhibited

ANYANG in the Republic of (South) Korea (Wikipedia).

Thirty-five pieces of artwork from Garden Grove Unified School District students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade have been requested by the Sister City Association of Garden Grove to be included in an international online exhibit organized by its sister city in Anyang, Republic of Korea.  The artwork can be seen on YouTube at https://youtu.be/5c0NG6ib_4Q.

Students whose artwork will be displayed include: Noah Loera, transitional kindergartner at Evans Elementary; first grader Teresa Le and fifth grader Kiera Nguyen from Carrillo Elementary; second grader Olivia Nguyen from Excelsior Elementary; second grader Kylie Ung, third grader Corl Alexis, and fourth grader Evelyn Everetts of Patton Elementary; third grader Anh Nguyen of Allen Elementary; third grader Genevie Vo of Bryant Elementary; fourth grader Aubrey Schipper and fifth grader Lily Luong of Post Elementary; seventh grader Kristine Huynh and eighth grader Anh Nguyen of Irvine Intermediate; seventh grader Brandon Nguyen and eighth grader Veronica Corona of Jordan Intermediate; seventh grader Karen Nguyen and eighth grader Alexis Le of McGarvin Intermediate; eighth grader Melissa Valdivia of Alamitos Intermediate; eighth grader Sarah Nguyen of Bell Intermediate; eighth grader Daniel Dang of Fitz Intermediate; eighth grader Katie Trinh of Walton Intermediate; 10th-grader Alexis Brito and 11th-grader Allison Atilano of Garden Grove High School; 10th-grader Ngoc Le and 11th-graders Christopher Ha, Thuy Ngo, and Cindy Nguyen of La Quinta High School; 10th-grader Daniel Tran and 11th-grader Ethan Chung of Rancho Alamitos High School; 10th-grader Katelyn Montealegre of Santiago High School; 11th-grader Sadie Ngo of Bolsa Grande High School; 11th-grader Angel De La Cruz from Hare High School; and 11-graders Jenna Barre, Carmelle Garces, and John Graether of Pacifica High School.
