Fire quickly knocked down

OCFA firefighters quickly knocked down a house fire in Garden Grove on Saturday, then rescued some Christmas gifts from the damaged house (OCFA image).

A fire at a single family home in Garden Grove on Saturday was quickly extinguished and prevented from spreading and severely damaging the rest of the house.

Firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides fire and paramedic service for the city – knocked down the fire, which was reported after 1 p.m. The location was the 13000 block of Adland Street, southeast of Garden Grove Boulevard and Brookhurst Street.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
