Police departments from Garden Grove, Irvine, Santa Ana and Seal Beach – along with six other agencies – are working together to battle dangerous street racing. This Street Racing and Takeover Team (SRT) responded to a takeover in progress in a downtown area of Santa Ana on Saturday night

Two “swingers” – drivers who drove in circles, doing “donuts” were arrested, along with 40 spectators and police impounded 21 vehicles.

Man held after HB sex assault spree

A man who allegedly sexually assaulted several women in a rampage last Tuesday in downtown Huntington Beach is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after being arrested by police.

According to the HBPD, Justin Wayne Goodgame, 28, was charged Thursday with one felony count each of kidnapping to commit rape, attempted forcible rape and sexual battery, along with two counts of indecent exposure and one count each of sexual battery, touching an intimate part of another person and failure to register as a sex offender.

The incidents reportedly started around 11 a.m. with an alleged “exposure,” followed by calls of women being grabbed and groped.  Passersby chased the suspect down and held him for police.

According to the HBPD, Goodgame had been convicted of indecent exposure as a juvenile, leading to the requirement to register as a sex offender.
