Change in WSD schools? Not yet

A final decision on returning classes in the Westminster School District to the hybrid model by the planned date of Feb. 16 has not yet been made.

At Thursday’s meeting of the Westminster School District Board of Trustees, Superintendent Cynthia Paik briefed the board on the district’s actions to cope with the many challenges of operating a public school system during a pandemic, but no action was taken.

According to Van Dam, public information officer for the WSD, the subject will be taken up again, likely at the Feb. 11 meeting of the board. The district is a K-8 public school system serving most of Westminster and parts of adjacent cities.
