After a big spike on Saturday, key metrics on the coronavirus pandemic in Orange County resumed their decline in Sunday’s report from the county health care agency.
According to the OCHCA, new cases fell from 2,752 to 1,795 and deaths dropped from 78 to 13. Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 declined from 1,818 to 1,732. Patients in intensive care units went from 482 to 467.
The cumulative total of coronavirus cases to date in Orange County is at 223,288. Of that number, 153,862 are considered recovered. Deaths are at 2,638.

- Santa Ana: 40,537 (486)
- Anaheim: 37,428 (519)
- Garden Grove: 14,413 (190)
- Orange: 10,495 (129)
- Fullerton: 9,976 (177)
- Huntington Beach: 9,112 (126)
Westminster has had 6,158 cases and 95 deaths. Stanton has had 2,806 cases and 35 deaths.
