The decline in new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Orange County was broken in Wednesday’s tally, but the three other major metrics had encouraging results.
According to the county health care agency, new cases rose from 250 on Tuesday to 325. However, for the second consecutive day, there were no COVID-19 deaths. Hospitalizations related to coronavirus cases dropped from 539 to 515, and intensive care units devoted to COVID patients went from 152 to 151.
The cumulative total of confirmed cases is now at 245,460, of which 227,622 are considered recovered. Deaths are at 3,848.

- Santa Ana: 43,835 (688)
- Anaheim: 40,766 (695)
- Garden Grove: 16,030 (297)
- Orange: 11,536 (200)
- Fullerton: 10,892 (243)
- Huntington Beach: 10,192 (176)
Westminster has had 6,877 cases and 147 deaths. Stanton has had 3,092 cases and 47 deaths.
