
THE JAWS OF LIFE are used to extricate a motorist from his overturned vehicle Monday morning on the Garden Grove Freeway (OCFA).
The “Jaws of Life” mechanical rescue device was employed Monday morning to help remove a man from his overturned vehicle on the Garden Grove Freeway.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides fire, medical and rescue services for Garden Grove, Stanton and Westminster – firefighters and paramedics used the device to extricate the motorist from his car in westbound lanes of the freeway near Knott Avenue/Goldenwest Street at 10:28 a.m.
OCFA personnel took the patient to a local trauma center.
