The latest report on the coronavirus in Orange County shows new confirmed cases hitting a near-historic low.
According to the county health care agency, Friday’s count dropped to 65 from 89 on Wednesday and 102 on Tuesday. Deaths fell to seven from 13 and the number of patients being treated in intensive care units ticked down from 30 to 29.
Hospitalizations increased from 122 to 125.
The to-date total of cases for the county is 252,692, of which 245,006 are considered recovered. Here is a list of OC cities with the most cases. Deaths are in parentheses.
- Santa Ana: 44,683 (843)
- Anaheim: 41,733 (852)
- Garden Grove: 16,342 (384)
- Orange: 11,854 (248)
- Fullerton: 11,342 (295)
- Huntington Beach: 10,676 (214)
- Irvine: 10,567 (83)
Westminster had had 7,145 cases and 200 deaths. Stanton has had 3,164 cases and 67 deaths.
