A 33-year-old Santa Ana man has been arrested on a variety of charges related to child pornography.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, Joseph Martinez was arrested Tuesday at his home. He is charged with three counts tied to child pornography: possession and control of child pornography, distributing obscene matter to a minor and bringing obscene material into California.
Police received a “cyber-tip” from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alleging that Martinez was storing and trading images and videos with other users across several online platforms.
SAPD officers serving a search warrant at Martinez’ home seized electronic devices that are being examined for additional content.
