Monday was a good news day, as far as tracking the status of the coronavirus in Orange County goes.
According to the county health agency, the number of confirmed new cases dropped to 63 from 79 the day before, the third straight day of declines. Deaths fell to zero from five on Sunday.
Hospitalizations of COVID-19 cases rose from 124 to 128, but patients being treated in intensive care units for the virus ticked down from 23 to 22.
The to-date total of Orange County cases is at 253,026, of which 245,332 are considered recovered. Deaths are at 4,896.

Westminster has had 7,157 cases and 202 deaths. Stanton has had 3,164 cases and 67 deaths.
