How well is the city doing financially as the coronavirus pandemic appears to be winding down? And what to do with the estimated $50.6 million the city expects to get from the federal government’s “American Rescue Plan”?

Those topics are on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council. Presented will be an update on the biennial budget through 2023 and the city’s efforts to solicit public input into how the “Rescue” money might best be used.
Also on the agenda are updates on homelessness and vaccine distribution in Garden Grove.

The council will meet in person in the Community Meeting Center at 6:30 p.m. The wearing of masks will be required, as will a six-foot distance between people in attendance.
