Special council meeting today
A special meeting of the Westminster City Council is scheduled for today (Friday) at 5 p.m. to consider construction of the proposed Quang Tri Citadel Commemorative Monument at Freedom Park.
The monument has become controversial and drew many comments at Wednesday’s meeting of the council. The meeting will be held via teleconference and in the council chambers, although the session is closed to the public.
