Three rescued from crushed car

OCFA FIREFIGHTERS cut injured passengers from a badly-damaged auto Wednesday evening in Garden Grove (OCFA photo).

Three adults trapped in their vehicle after a traffic collision in Garden Grove on Wednesday were rescued by firefighters.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides fire and paramedic service to Garden Grove – the collision took place around 5:44 p.m. at Chapman Avenue and Nutwood Street.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life device to cut the vehicle open and bring the three persons out to safety.

They were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
