Westminster police were able to recover a stolen vehicle on June 23 but not items stolen from the victim’s garage.

According to the WPD, police received a vehicle theft report and also discovered that “a large amount of personal property” had been stolen from victim’s locked garage.

A Lojack alert led police to a location near the 6000 block of La Pat Court, where the vehicle was found unoccupied, locked and secured.

The vehicle had a different license plate attached, one registered to an address in Garden Grove. The original plates were not found and none of the stolen property was found inside the automobile.
