A plan to conduct a program of “dumpster days/community cleanup” in each of the city’s six council districts is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council.

Originally proposed by Mayor Pro Tem Kim Nguyen, the program would authorize six cleanup events over a series of weekends between August and December 2021.

The cost of the cleanup events will be borne by Republic Services, which provides refuse pickup and recycling services to Garden Grove.

The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
