A BUENA PARK man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Anaheim on Monday night (Shutterstock).

A 43-year-old Buena Park man has been identified as the victim of a homicide in Anaheim on Sunday.

According to the APD, Tyrone Portis is the man fatally shot on Aug. 1. At about 9:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of Orange Avenue and Laxore Street regarding a report of a shooting.

There they found Portis, who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared deceased.

Anaheim police detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or Portis to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
