THREE LOCAL city council meets originally set for next week have been cancelled (Shutterstock).

Local government enthusiasts – and there are such people – will have to be patient as all three local city council meetings normally scheduled for the second week of the month have been cancelled.

Garden Grove’s meeting set for Tuesday, Aug. 10, won’t be held. The next regular meeting is set for Aug. 24. Stanton’s meeting, also scheduled for Aug. 10, will be skipped, with the next meeting on Aug. 24.

The Westminster City Council, which meets on Wednesday, will meet next on Aug. 25.

In Huntington Beach, the next regularly scheduled city council meeting is set for Tuesday, Aug. 17.
