A GARDEN GROVE man is dead after a shooting incident early Wednesday morning (Shutterstock).

Police are investigating the shooting death of a Garden Grove man early Wednesday morning.

According to Det. Sgt. Evan Beresford of the GGPD, police received a call at about 1:22 a.m. about a report of gunshots at a residence in the 8000 block of Lampson Avenue, near Beach Boulevard.

Arriving officers found a man in front of a home who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were taken at the scene, but the man – identified by police initially only as a 33-year-old resident of Garden Grove – died from his wounds.

There’s no description of a suspect yet.
