Rancho Alamitos won its third Garden Grove League football title in four years with Thursday’s 27-17 victory over Los Amigos at Monsoor Stadium.

The Vaqueros clinched no worse than a tie last week when they defeated Santiago 25-22, but this win allows them to officially be the number one team from the GGL going into the CIF-SS playoffs starting next week.

Rancho finishes the regular season 9-1 overall and 5-0 in league play. Los Amigos closes out with 4-6 and 2-3 marks.

Orange won the battle for the Orange Coast League title by defeating Santa Ana 41-21. The Panthers finish the regular season with a 7-3 record overall and 4-1 in league. The Saints finish 7-2 and 4-1.

Pacifica defeated Kennedy 50-13 to grab third place in the Empire League. The Mariners (8-2 and 3-2) now advance to the CIF-SS playoffs. Cypress is the EL champ.
