The planning commissions on Garden Grove and Westminster will meet this week in separate sessions. Here’s a preview of what’s on the agendas.
Garden Grove: Outdoor dining codes
A public hearing will be held to consider an amendment to the municipal code on restaurants with outdoor seating in the commercial and industrial zones. Covered would be the use of barriers and parklets, parking and other regulations.
The commission will meet in person on Thursday in the Community Meeting Center at 7 p.m.
Westminster: From vacant to care facility
A proposal to develop and operate a residential care facility is the sole item on the agenda for this meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
ActivCare Inc. wants to build the facility on a vacant lot at 8251 Heil Ave. between Beach Boulevard and Newland Street.
The meeting will be held via webconference.
