A MAN walking in a roadway died after being struck by at least three cars in Santa Ana (Shutterstock).

A man walking in the roadway on Fairview Street in Santa Ana Friday was fatally struck by automobiles.

According to the SAPD, the incident was reported at 1:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Fairview. Arriving officers and Orange County Fire Authority paramedics found him dead at the scene.

It’s believed that the man – identified as Arturo Quevedo, 41 –was in the northbound lanes of Fairview between McFadden Avenue and Highland Street. He was struck by at least three vehicles, including a Mercedes sedan, a Hyundai and a Toyota Corolla. The driver of the latter car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
