It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

Well, it’s also usually the Most Busy Time of the Year.

Shopping, parties, cooking, eating, decorating, reflecting on Christmas’ passed … It’s fun but it takes a lot. And so it’s time to take a little time off.

The staff of The Orange County Tribune will be on a Yuletide hiatus from Thursday, Dec. 23 to Sunday, Dec. 26. We’ll be here for our readers if there’s significant news to be reported, but otherwise, we’re planning on eggnog, decking the halls, relaxing and taking some family time.

We wish the same for our “other family”: the readers, advertisers and other supporters of The Orange County Tribune (not to mention those who followed us from the old Garden Grove Journal).

We’ll be back to see the old year out and to report – and perhaps make – some news in the New Year.
