One hurt in warehouse fire

 

A WAREHOUSE fire in Stanton was extinguished by OCFA firefighters (OCFA photo).

One person was hospitalized after a warehouse fire in Stanton on Thursday morning.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides fire and paramedic services for the city – the blaze was in the pre-dawn hours around 6 a.m. in the 10700 block of Chestnut Avenue, which is east of Beach Boulevard and north of Pacific Street in an industrial area.

Crews were able to evacuate the workers and confine the fire to the one building. One employee at the warehouse was treated by firefighter-paramedics and transported to an area hospital.
