In baseball, Huntington Beach is rated number three in Southern California by Los Angeles Times. In softball, The Times is giving pre-season honors to Huntington Beach pitcher Zoe Prystajko, a sophomore with 86 strikeouts in 40 innings for the Oilers in her freshman year.
