10 people displaced in SA fire

Nine adults and one child were routed from their homes in a Santa Ana condominium complex Saturday night.

Firefighters from the OCFA arriving at the complex at around 10 p.m. in the 200 block of N. Mountain View (north of 1st Street) saw heavy smoke from a first story unit extending into the second story (see photo at right).

An “aggressive” attack kept the fire from spreading beyond the two units initially involved and there were no injuries.

Housing assistance was provided by the Southern California Red Cross.
