A MOTORCYCLIST was in critical condition after a collision with an automobile in Westminster (Shutterstock).

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a collision with an automobile in Westminster Monday night.

According to Commander Kevin McCormack of the WPD, the incident took place in the 15500 block of Magnolia Street (near McFadden Avenue). Police received the report at around 7:49 p.m. and officers responded, along with the Orange County Fire Authority.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene by OCFA paramedics and taken to UCI Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He was indentified as a male Hispanic, 35 to 40 years old. The driver of the auto remained at the scene and cooperated with investigating officers.
