UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT Volodymyr Zelensky meeting with President Joe Biden (Wikipedia).

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine continued well into its second month with no end in sight, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continued his plea Sunday for more tanks and military aircraft.

According to the Associated Press, he reportedly told independent Russian journalists that his government might be willing to declare itself neutral, which would mean not joining NATO or allowing nuclear weapons to be based on that nation’s soil.

Such an agreement would have to be approved by the Ukrainian people, and such a vote would not take place until after Russian forces departed.
