The dead body of a man was found in a parked vehicle in Anaheim this (Sunday) morning.
According to the APD, officers responded around 8:39 a.m. to the 1500 block of W. Ball Road after receiving a report of screaming coming from an automobile.
Upon arrival, offices found a man – described only as an “adult male Hispanic” – who exited the vehicle and was detained. Looking inside, officers found a recently deceased man with signs of physical trauma.
At this point, homicide detectives began an investigation. According to APD, there’s no search for additional suspects and no ongoing threat to public safety. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The name of the detained suspect is also not being disclosed at this time, nor the nature of the injuries to the victim.
Ball Road between Loara Street and Gilbuck Street in Anaheim are expected to be closed for the remainder of the day.
