The employment of a new city manager tops the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Stanton City Council.

Hannah Shin-Heydorn, currently city manager for the City of Signal Hill, is expected to be approved. Before serving in that capacity, she was the deputy city manager. Previous to that she served in several administrative capacities for the City of Lake Forest.

She would succeed Jarad Hildrenbrand, who left Stanton earlier this year to become city manager of Laguna Hills. Since then Zenia Bobadilla has been serving as interim city manager.

According to social media posts, Shin-Heydorn, 45, is a resident of Fountain Valley.

Also on the agenda for Tuesday is an update on cannabis business application and permitting process.

The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall, 7800 Katella Ave.
