Six dogs – including five puppies – were rescued Tuesday afternoon from a garage fire in Garden Grove.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the blaze was reported at 4:20 p.m. in the 12500 block of Chili Pepper Lane (southeast of Chapman Avenue and Euclid Street).
The first arriving engine found well-involved garage fire that was threatening the rest of the home.
A rapid attack stopped the blaze and the family of six was safely out of the house with the six canines taken to safety. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. A cash card was issued to the displaced family and Garden Grove police assisted at the scene.
